If you want to share your video or slideshow with effects applied, you’ll need to export the video.

If you want the exported video to be the same size as the underlying video’s original size, change the video’s current size by choosing Video->Actual Size.

To export the video:

1. Choose File->Export Movie (Option-Cmd-S)
2. Select an appropriate setting from the Settings dialog. (To modify these settings and create your own customized settings, see Export Settings.)
3. Click OK
4. Choose a location and set a file name in the Save File dialog.
5. Click OK.

Videator supplies presets for exporting for iPods and to the web.

Exporting can take a long time, depending on the settings that you’ve chosen. To stop the export, click the Stop button in the export progress dialog.
